U.S. rents remained stable in June, posting a year-over-year gain of 2.9%. Both attached and detached rentals saw gains this month, reversing the trend of the previous couple of months.
Washington D.C. topped the U.S. for annual rent growth in June. St. Louis, which was leading the country for rent growth for the last two months, dropped to the No. 5 spot. Austin, Texas and Phoenix once again saw annual rental costs losses of less than 1%.
