The role CoreLogic plays in building a better world is more important now than ever before as our families and cities combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We continue to honor our commitment to invest in our local communities as in alignment with our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) program donating a charitable contribution of $250,000 to help fight hunger, one of the primary impacts of this global pandemic. Employees are also utilizing the additional two days of Volunteer Paid Time-Off (VPTO) that have been provided through the summer months to really help make a difference in this very important cause.
“Giving back is a core value for CoreLogic and our donation towards hunger relief efforts along with hands-on employee engagement at local food banks is helping thousands of families around the world,” said Melanie Graper, Chief Human Resources Officer.
Read below about how several offices across the globe have come together for different hunger-fighting initiatives.
Knoxville
The Knoxville office selected Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee, the largest hunger-relief organization in the region, to donate $2,500 in support of our efforts. In late May, several team members from the office helped in the warehouse for packing food for delivery. CoreLogic Knoxville has supported Second Harvest over the past several years by hosting food donation drives as part of their philanthropic events.
Oxford
CoreLogic team members from our Oxford Office made a $10,000 donation to The Pantry, a nonprofit organization that has been providing food for eligible residents for over 30 years.
“The manager of The Pantry observed that it was the biggest single donation they had ever received,” said Glen Evans, Executive, Valuation Technology Solutions. “He and the other volunteer leaders there further remarked how pleased they were to see CoreLogic continuing and building upon the legacy of FNC in terms of our support for the Pantry, both financial and in volunteer hours.
Of course, the Oklahoma City (OKC) Connect team made a similar donation in that community recently also. It is especially gratifying to see CoreLogic investing in the needs of our OKC and Oxford communities at this time.”
In late August, several team members volunteered at The Pantry’s food drive, raising a total of $1,450 in monetary contribution and 599 food items for donation. What you don’t see in this photo is the “friendly competition” that took place between East and West Building associates, who battled to collect the most donations from donators!

Rochester
Also, in mid-August, our Rochester office made an in-person $10,000 donation to Rochester-based Foodlink, which has helped provide health programs and make nutritious food more accessible for underserved communities in Upstate New York for more than 40 years. “They were extremely appreciative of the contribution and re-enforced how much it was needed during this time,” said Randy Kozlowski, Executive, Performance Excellence. “They gave us a tour of their warehouse and shared with us how they support the community. It was eye-opening for me personally to hear of the amount of hunger that exists just in Rochester and the surrounding area. I was very proud to be a CoreLogic Team member yesterday.”
Milwaukee
On August 11, Milwaukee team members helped dozens of people stock their pantries with some much-needed food. Partnering with The Gathering, a local community meal program that provides close to 90,000 free meals a year to the hungry and homeless populations, our employees held a “grocery giveaway,” where people were able to stop by the event to grab a nice breakfast and shop for groceries. Organizers say recipients of the food were overjoyed. The event even made it on the local news! Click here to read about more the effort featured locally.
Austin
On June 17, 2020, the Austin office had valiant volunteers pack boxes of food for families and individuals in need at the Central Texas Food Bank. The largest hunger-relief charity in Central Texas, the food bank has been a leader for over 38 years spanning across 21 counties. Our CoreLogic volunteers boxed 12,860 pounds of food, equating to 11,550 meals at the food bank. That’s 1,283 meals per volunteer!
CoreLogic donated $15,000 to the cause and Bryan Parsons also organized an online fundraiser for additional funds. He personally raised over $850 to contribute another 3,436 meals to the Central Texas Food Bank.
Oklahoma City
The Oklahoma City campus has a longtime partnership with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma and shared a $10,000 donation in July, which assists with supporting a long-term recovery approach for low-income households. TheRegional Food Bank of Oklahoma distributes food and services to a network of nearly 1,300 charitable feeding programs, including community-based partner agencies, schools and organizations. Our support for the food bank’s mission will result in serving 1,600 people in need in the Oklahoma City community. These initiatives include a summer and back-to-school program for local children, emergency food boxes distributed to seniors and people in detrimental health conditions and support to the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP). On average, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma has seen a 30% increase in new client visits since April.
Dallas
Our Dallas campus has been working closely with the Irving Schools Foundation (ISF), which supports educational programs, scholarships and activities for teachers and students in the Irving Independent School District (ISD). Specifically, we partnered with them on their Food For Thought Program. Many of the Irving students depend on their school breakfasts and lunches as their primary source of nutrition. Food for Thought was created as an anti-hunger initiative, which supplies non-perishable food items to disadvantaged students on the weekends and during school holidays. The Food For Thought program currently averages about 1,300 food bags every week.
The bags include five main course items, two breakfast items and two snacks, and with CoreLogic’s support their need for more than 5,000 meals to more than 1,400 Irving ISD students were served. Our company already has a strong existing relationship with ISF through our annual Backpack and Food Drives, so it was an easy decision to continue partnering with such a phenomenal organization and donate $75,000!
Irvine
In Irvine, our approximately 30 volunteers worked closely with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. Through a network of more than 300 community and program partners distributing food in every city throughout Orange Country, Second Harvest feeds more than 250,000 individuals each month. That number has doubled since the start of the global pandemic and the food bank is now serving 500,000 each month. However, as shelter-in-place restrictions took hold, many of their Partner Network locations were forced to close their doors and the food bank was unable to operate their centers.
To urgently serve their local neighbors safely, Second Harvest formed a Pop-Up Drive Thru Food Distribution model at the Honda Center. Every Saturday morning a drive-thru was organized providing food to thousands of cars and households. This served as a safety net for the more than 150 food distribution sites that have closed around the county over the last several months. A team of 30 CoreLogic employees and even some family members joined the Second Harvest team on June 20, 2020, at the Pop-Up Drive Thru.
In addition to our $40,000 monetary donation, Irvine volunteers ran two lanes and served roughly 1,500 cars that morning. Since the first Pop-Up on March 21, to the last event held on June 27, the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County served 62,436 households. That’s over 2 million pounds of food – to include produce, frozen meat, shelf-stable food and necessary household items.
